Dyno'd the Deuce
LaDonna said this trip is really getting expensive!! New coated headers and 2 1/2" flowmaster exhaust today. Dyno'd 291.1 ftlb torque @4500RPM, 295.1 hp @ 5800RPM and still climbing (got chicken, didn't want to break before the Reunion). The car sounds and feel much stronger. Picked up almost 50ftlb and 40hp. (Tom, I looked at the wrong printout when I messaged you earlier.) WE ARE READY Headed out Friday. Re: Dyno'd the Deuce
Those are pretty good rear wheel numbers! You're right there in LS-1 territory, and those cars are solid 13 second cars, with a few sneaking into the 12s. Any idea what your car weighs?

Re: Dyno'd the Deuce
Not sure about the weight but would guess 2900-3100lbs. Jim

Re: Dyno'd the Deuce
Plugging in some figures...
-------------------------------- Weight: 3200 (with you) HP: 300 -------------------------------- Estimated 1/4 mile ET: 12.81 Estimated 1/4 mile MPH: 106.39 Estimated 1/8 mile ET: 8.16 Estimated 1/8 mile MPH: 85.93 Those numbers are assuming you can hook that thing! |
Re: Dyno'd the Deuce
Sounds very optimistic!! Would be satisified with a second slower than that. Hope you can help me get it in that range. HOOKING will be the problem. Have to experiment. It sure sounds good!!

Re: Dyno'd the Deuce
A Nova with an iron head small block will weigh about 3150.
