1967 CORVETTE 427

'67 CORVETTE (427 4-Speed)COUPE. TUXEDO BLACK/RED Stinger Stripe. Came from Dealer #189 (775 x 15 Red Lines) (370 Rear End) (AM/FM Radio) (Tinted Glass) (Side Exhaust). This car is a SURVIVOR although most people think it has been restored. I DO have the TANK STICKER, ALL options and Color's are CORRECT. Black was VERY RARE in '67. The ENGINE, TRANSMISSION and REAR END is ORIGINAL!!! I have OWNED this Vette since 1980 and RARELY Drove it. This car is SCARY/FAST!!! Unfortunately I am ONLY Parting with this car because I found Something ELSE.. This car Needs NOTHING.. Priced at $64,900 Any Questions feel free to e-mail me. Mark

getting alot of e-mails and here's somemore information.. The DRIVE-TRAIN is ORIGINAL--the one that LEFT the FACTORY with!! When I bought this car in 1980 it was like a BRAND NEW CAR all I did was Show it. This Car Has NEVER Been RESTORED!! When I bought it the paint was so Nice that I assume that it must have been repainted as the cars were originally painted poorly from the factory. About a year ago Phil Borris detailed the engine compartment for me. Anything more please just post or e-mail me. Thanks, Mark

Mark,

I forgot to ask in the PM. Does the car have side pipes or rear exhaust? In 1967 Corvettes could either have come from the St. Louis or the AO Smith plant. If you have an AO Smith built car, it CANNOT have side pipes. The only cars to have side pipes, were the Corvettes that were built at the St. Louis plant. This is probably a stretch, but when the dealer took off the stock intake manifold, carb, air cleaner, and air cleaner cover, did they happen to give it back to the original owner? Tell your son to take a picture of the engine pad, and all the documentation you have for the car. Thank you very much! Its about time we got some Corvettes for sale.
