#1 USC vs. LSU
Oklahoma in the BCS championship game after that pathetic performance yesterday? Man, that's worse than driving a Ford!

Looks to me like the national championship game will be at the Rose Bowl! Did you know that the college coaches poll is required to select the BCS 1-2 winner as the national champion? This week, though, the coaches have USC ranked #1.. Re: #1 USC vs. LSU
Not to take away from a fine season by Oklahoma, but when both polls rank USC as #1 and they are not in the "Championship" game (which I hear is now the Rose Bowl this year), it makes you believe that whoever designed the BCS rankings must be related to whoever designed the Edsel.

Re: #1 USC vs. LSU
Just an opinion here, but, if #2 looses it's conference championship game to a conference division champ AND #3 wins it's conference championship, shouldn't #2 become #3 and likewise #3 become #2 thus putting #1 & #2 in the national championship game?
I swear, anybody can understand that math. I am not an LSU fan at all, but you would have to be Anne Frank to not know that the two best teams in the nation are USC & LSU. I would think that somebodies math solved the equation that OK is closer to NO than LA thus OK$ x10 is a good thing. |
Re: #1 USC vs. LSU
Simply go to playoff system, like in all other NCAA sanctioned sports, utilizing the exisitng bowls. Take the the top 4, maybe even the top 8 teams. Would make all of the bowls mean something, and worth watching. And, then, we would have a true national champion, decided on the field, not with polls and computers.
