While on this subject, I was stationed in an aviation unit at Ft Hood Texas 1981-82. In 1982, I was car hunting. Checking out some of the local used car lots in Killeen Tx. I came across a 71-73 BM Camaro. I did not know at that time what the car was. It had the L-88 hood,Big block engine,Motion emblems on the fenders, single stripe accross top of car. I beleive it was painted green w/ white stripe. The price was $4995.00. More than what i wanted to spend at that time. Bought a 73 Century GS with a 455 instead at the same lot for $1895.00. Sure was fond of that Motion Camaro. Would have been a better investment.The name of the car lot i beleive was Tejas Motors in Killeen Texas. Anyone know of this car or if was legit? Did the car have steel wheels with smooth dog dish hubcaps on it?? And side pipes?
