Ink cartridge salesmen
I'm sure many of you have or are involved in businesses, do you also get bombarded with ink cartridge sales calls?
It's crazy, where do they all come from? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif |
Re: Ink cartridge salesmen
If you find out let me know as I would like to send them back there with a big knot on their heads.

It's crazy, where do they all come from? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif [/ QUOTE ] Them and those Damn Stock broker cold calls...here is what I do...Usually most sales people are reading from a script so I will do one of two things, I put the phone down and continue what I was doing just barely being able to hear them on the speaker, as soon as they stop talking I tell them I was busy and wasnt really listening and ask them to repeat it again, if they dont hang up then and they repeat it agian I say the same thing and they will definatly hang up...Also as they are scripted you can start asking off the wall questions like "What are the chemical breakdowns of the ink?" Or "If I accidentally drank the ink would I get sick? When I try to pass the ink will it come out Blue?" They will usually get the message and hang up.... For Newspaper salesmen, I let them do their speel and at the end I tell them Im not interested, they like to argue so I finally make them feel like ship and tell them that Im blind and unless the newspaper comes in Braille Im not interested... I do not like salesmen at all, If I need something I will call you... Sam |
Re: Ink cartridge salesmen
On a slightly different tangent: Most telemarketers are not allowed to hang up on you first unless you use profanity. I had a little fun w/ one as I put my girlfriends son on the line (age 5 at the time). I proceeded to bring his X-mas presents out for him tell the telemarketer all about, and that he did...for about 1/2 an hour. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif

Hey Sam;
I know what you mean about the newspaper sales calls. I let them go through their script and then tall them I am not interested, and when they ask why, I tell them because I work for the newspaper. When they hear this, they are kinda speechless and hang up. Bill https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif |
Re: Ink cartridge salesmen
I have heard that there is number available that stops all calls of the sort. I will try to get it posted.

Re: Ink cartridge salesmen
Here's one that is kind of along the same lines of having some fun if you find yourself with a little extra free time.... Who gets the spam snail mail on a daily basis?? You know, all the crap from credit card companys and financial lenders that come in the mail with "no postage necessary" return envelopes?? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif I save those up and now and then stuff the envelopes with some of the crap from the other envelopes and add some other usless stuff if it's laying around.. tampon coupons.. Ed McMann stuff.. you know whatever.. and drop them in the mailbox.. It's good for a 1.5 minute chuckle now and then.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif
