VIN and Cowl Tag on Ebay
This is a VIN, cowl tag and title for a 69 Beaumont SD396 convertible. According to the auction, there were only 43 built. That may be true since there were only 65 built in 1968. I know it is against the law in the US to sell a VIN but what about Canada? The only good thing about the auction is the fact that the seller is honest about what his intentions are. This is the part that gets me; "This car deserves to be redone properly. It would be a true gem when restored." What is there to restore? I guess the VIN and cowl tags could be restored. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif.

Re: VIN and Cowl Tag on Ebay
I've noticed rebodied cars at shows that don't have the correct rivets, the owner has usually taken some efforts to cover the vin with some sort of paperwork. Convenient huh.
