Other Scammers: 419's

This is an important post to all my fellow gearheads.

I'd be willing to bet that the majority of us have received the scam email from Nigeria that requests your help in securing anywhere from $10-66million in which you get to "keep" 30%.

All you have to do is respond and fill out the proper paperwork and the big bucks are all but guaranteed! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Well, it seems there is a HUGE amount (millions) of $$ going to Nigeria from the U.S., UK, Australia and Canada from people who fall for this scam.

One elderly gent in Atlanta lost his $400,000 life savings to these SOBs. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif
These scammers are called "419"ers. It is the number of the Nigerian penal code that prohibits postal and Internet fraud.

You may be surprised to hear that there is a group organized to fight the 419 gang and if you access their website you'll be amazed that there are over 2,700 people in their online forum alone!

They are called the "419 Eaters" and they work at scamming the scammers.

I have listed the link to a hilarious story (one of many) in which one of the "baiters" takes a scammer for some hard-earned cash.

If you want to learn more about how these scammer jerks work, and how the 419-eater/baiters work them back, Check This Out!

Trust me, you'll be intrigued if you scan their forum, these people are very serious about baiting these scammers, and play some pretty foul tricks on them.

Let me know (here) what you think!
