The car looks and sounds like a whole lot of fun to me no matter what it turns out to be. I don't know why he's being hounded about a piece of tin on his firewall. Sounds like this car is on a mission tonite while most 427 camaro owners sit at home watching American Hot Rod on The Discovery Channel. Good luck to him tonite!

HE WANTED TO BUY IT BACK! Unselfishly, he was kind enough to go thru the "old" order files and gave me all the General Motors S--t that was smelling kinda moldy. He even recalled the day the 427 rolled off the car carrier. I guess it was a big deal to order a Camaro from the factory with a L72 motor in it back then. I'll have to dig-out of the attic the plastic booklet pouch that has all that GM stuff in it. If I recall, that metal "credit card" thingy is in there too??? When I find time, I'll go and find it.
