Re: Sunoco Camaro (clone) on Ebay
Very, Very, VERY https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif. Mark was always one of my favorite drivers and I saw him race these cars at Mosport. I would love to own this car, but my piggy bank just doesn't have the resources https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

Re: Sunoco Camaro (clone) on Ebay
Super looking car. My only question is why not stick with period correct bolt-ons under the hood? The K&N filter and MSD Ignition seem out of place. I love old Morosos but was that style around back then? I had them in the eighties but I was too young to remember them in the early seventies. Nice car though!!

Re: Sunoco Camaro (clone) on Ebay
Pretty cool car. I thought it was a cool idea to build a car like that but I agree it could look a little more period correct under the hood for maximum effect. But I guess if you went that far to make it look that close to the real thing you would probably have yourself a race car and want to hit the track with it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif We all have our limits to how far we go with a car.

Re: Sunoco Camaro (clone) on Ebay
If you want to get technical, the outside appearance is the only thing that really looks like the original race car(minus the Eagle ST's) The engine nor the interior look very "period correct". It's still a neat car though, amd would be cool to jump in and rip through the neighborhood with open headers. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif
