In search of... 69 COPO Camaro of my youth

Hi all, I'm new here hope i'm posting under the correct
topic. Just got a wild hair to see if I could locate any
info on this particular Camaro. Last sold (that I know of
in the 80's)to a fellow from Nebraska. I never owned the
car but the original owner is currently working with me.
I did happen to have bits and pieces of it including the
original bill of sale from Columbiana, OH Chevy dealer
that spelled out iirc, sports car conversion, and other
options and prices. Basically for $500 and his 67 vette
he got this white,4-speed,427,Camaro,new.Bill of sale
went to the guy in Nebraska that bought it.
Any ideas or direction on how I could go about finding
the current owner would be much appreciated.

Sign Me, Still kicking my @$$ for letting that original
axle go with a roller 67 nova for $200. Jeff Lynn

Looks like one COPO Chevelle has been listed from Columbiana at www.copo.com
I didn't see any COPO Camaros listed from there on his site.

Re: In search of... 69 COPO Camaro of my youth

OK cool, I found that, thanks. That Chevelle(for some reason
I always considered it a Malibu) was Bill Davis's car and he's
the one I gave the bill of sale too document the Camaro as he
sold it to the guy in Nebraska. Story from Norm Edwards who
bought the Camaro new is that it was one of ten delivered to
another dealer in NE Ohio (possibly Akron) that made its way
to Columbiana Motors. Sure wish I would have made a copy of
the bill of sale...
Either way I'm gonna keep digging to see what turns up.

Thanks!

I know of two COPO Camaros when I was in high school in Omaha. One I lost track of over the years, the other one I still know about. What color was the one you are looking for?

There is a white 4spd car here in Columbus. Sold new in Cheasapeake, OH. Right across the river from Huntington WV.
2nd owner car, under 10k miles, true surviver. Has a blue interior with center console. Not all that far downriver from Columbiana.
Bobb Chevrolet is in Columbus, still in business, and not known if they sold any COPO cars.
