Tennyson Chevrolet
 

Anyone have any recollection of Tennyson Chevrolet in Farmington Michigan? I was talking with my older brother who reminded me that our dad bought two new Suburbans there, one in 65 with a six banger, then one in 66, a fully optioned model with a 327. After having it less then six months he took it back to the dealer and had a 396 installed as he bitched non stop because pulling our camping trailer he thought it was gutless. After having the big block put in he couldnt keep a center driveshaft carrier bearing in it and sold it less then a year later. Big brother remembers the big block having chrome valve covers and a aluminum intake. No Tennyson Chevrolet in Farmington. They're still in their original location on Plymouth Rd near Farmington Rd in Livonia. I bought my first new car from them, black and gold "79" Z. I knew it was Farmington something or other, I was about 12 when we bought the Suburbans there, lucky to remember as much as I did.
