'70 Berger Nova?
Friend just showed up in my office with a picture of a '70 427 Nova SS. Has emblems and decals from Berger. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gifDocumentation shows it was sold out of Berger. Was this an SS 350 with a later change or is it possble it left Berger with a 427? 81k miles. Jim https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

This was discussed a week or so ago. Very doubtful that Berger swapped the motor. In 1970 the 454 was out, and much more likely to be the motor of choice for a transplant. Just my opinion. Sounds like a neat car. Andy |

Re: '70 Berger Nova?
Did Nova's receive proportioning valves on the frames?

Re: '70 Berger Nova?
My '69 Yenko did not have one, nor a friends '69 L-78.

Re: '70 Berger Nova?
That's what I was thinking, neither of my Nova's had one, and both are/were original when I bought them. I think BKH told me this past weekend that the Novas never got them?

Re: '70 Berger Nova?
My early-70 has a distribution block on the sub frame. Partway through the production year, GM made a change and consoliated them up under the master cyclinder.
