The passenger side door looks like it was sprayed. Lighter than the quarter and front fender. Maybe just the pictures. Pics are kinda dark.

Actually if it's Fathom Green it's off. Looks like in between Rally and Fathom. Silver stripes? Unrestored? This one needs a visit in person.

Don't forget the 68 door trim. Looks like a nice rose wood and shifter for what its worth.

Kind of a weird mix of stuff on that car. It has those Sanderson exhaust manifolds, the 68 door edge moldings, it has the chrome exterior trim when it shouldn't, according to the trim tag it was a vinyl top car which is now gone, doesn't look like the correct green paint, tailpipes stick out too far. I still can't get past the 68 door edge moldings.

Jeff- You think that is weird. Look at the price with 5 days left!? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif Maybe it's just me?

I don't get it. It's been painted (the wrong colors) and the motor has been rebuilt and apparently it has many incorrect parts. What the heck does unrestored mean? Maybe it means "needs restoring". $32k? I am so locked out of this hobby!

That is a lot of money with that much time left.

Even with all the incorrect stuff I think the price is not bad if the engine is orig and the car is not a rust bucket. Spend 10K painting it and fixing small stuff as you get around to it. I think 32K is very fair for what appears to be there.

Color is way off for sure. Actually, I kind of like the 68 door trim... but not on a car that is supposedly "correct". I also don't like the style trim options put on an X77 car. But then, it's the owner's prerogative to do what he wants to it. He could tub it for that matter, but then it isn't "correct" is it? Doesn't it bother you when guys list a "matching number" car without including all the date and number info. For instance, 3 full months ahead of time seems pretty long for the engine assy date. Would like to know if partial VIN is stamped by oil filter. What are the casting numbers and date codes on the axle? Still have correct gearing? Gives a lot of casting numbers without giving dates for heads, distributor, carb, etc. He obviously knows about VIN stamps because he mentions the one on the trans. As you are well aware, that stuff can be maddening, not to mention expensive, to make right.

Easy to nit pick from here, I know. Would hate to put my car on ebay and then watch you guys rip it to shreads, but then again, maybe you wouldn't. I am still in awe of these prices. Maybe because I bought my Z/28 in 1976 for $900. Actully traded a 1970 Opel Rallye for it, but figure that is what the Opel was worth.
