I did it! Bought me a 70 Chevelle SS454!
 

I have always wanted a Fathom Blue/White Stripe 70 Chevelle SS454 and last weekend I bought it!!!!! I know I am not in the same league as a lot of you on this board but I thought you could still appreciate it. I wanted one I wasn't afraid to drive (and could afford) so it is not numbers matching, no docs and not a perfect car but it is very nice, it just needs some little things but I can enjoy it now as is too.
My girlfriend's dad saw the car at Spring Carlisle and told me about it and after talking to the owner about 10 times I flew out, checked it out, and bought it. Then my girlfriend's dad drove 6 1/2 hours each way with his flatbed to pick it up and haul it to their house in WV where it is right now. I've just gotta coordinate a time to get it hauled here! I can't wait to get it home!

Thanks guys. I plan on having this car a long time so I have plenty of time to fix and upgrade stuff but it is a very straight car. Lots of sheetmetal was replaced and nice paint so that is what I was most concerned about. It's gonna be an awesome cruise night car for me. I love my 2001 Camaro SS but it doesn't always get it's due respect at shows and cruises.
