Rolled outside for the first time

My COPO project is moving forward. Needed to clean the shop so I rolled her outside into the sun for the first time. Now for paint.

It takes alot to impress me Al, and each time you post something on your COPO, you have done just that. Your COPO would be an added bonus to SCR8, and you can bet I'll be stopping by. Nice Work! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Albert,
Looks like you may have block sanded the body a bit too much. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif What's left looks great!

Al,

Very nice! Love to see more detailed pics as the COPO project nears completion. Of course we will see the real deal at SCR8, but keep us drooling in the meanwhile with bite size pics. Please! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Re: Rolled outside for the first time

Thanks for the kind words everyone...I'm afraid I will be disappointing some people as the car will probably not be done for this years reunion. Still have a long way to go and lots of money to spend!, but it will be done and will make a appearance at SCR9.My goal for this summer and this car is to get some color on the body. It is out now getting some NOS quarters hung and I'm hoping to have it back by the end of June, but for now I am going to enjoy the summer a bit and take some time off to keep showing my 70 SS.

Well then just bring the frame. People would dig that...BTW what tires are those? Are they Polyglas? Not picking at all but the wording Polyglas was not used in the GM line in 1969. The tires would have Wide Tread F-70-14 on the sidewall. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif...BKH
