tunnel ram update
well it runs good no real problems except for the hard starting "flooding" due to fuel puddling.i can't believe the horsepower difference it's unbelievable on the top-end.what's cool is the thumbs up and compliments i'm getting while driving around.the camaro really has that DAY2 look a real 70's performance look to it.here is what the tune on the carbs are that sees to be working :#65 jets8.5 power valve engine is pulling 10"hg vacum with the tunnel ram50cc pumps50cc white pump cams #2 slot#37 squirtersi think i might be a little lean on the plugs they look like they could be darker in color not much though.i haven't tried the .018 wire in the idle circuit in the metering block yet due to 2 different styles of metering blocks.now if i can just get rid of that annoying fuel puddling problem i'll be very happy. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Re: tunnel ram update
The tunnel ram pic looks good. What do you mean by "fuel puddling". Are you running an electric and mechanical pump?
Make sure the pressure is not too high-that may be giving you puddling if it's what I think it is. Dave |
Re: tunnel ram update
it's hard to restart after driving awhile.i have to crack the throttle blades open as if it were flooded.i was told this is a common problem with tunnel rams and i'm running a carter mechanical pump.another thing i notice is that the carbs and top part of the intake "frost over" and get really cold if not driven alot in the morning or even during the warmest time of the day https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif
