Re: 1981 Turbo Z/28 Info
Once again, a legit Yenko piece, and a pretty tough item to find. i believe there were less than twenty 1981 Turbo Z's ever built, and although there was most certainly more brochures produced than cars, they are still very scarce. The brown folders are out there, but complete info packets with Don's signature are another story all together. FYI, this packet on ebay was not 100% complete, as originally there was also a color chip chart also included, with the Turbo Z specific colors shown... each was a "turbo color", ie: "Turbo Red, Turbo Blue, Turbo Silver", etc... although they were all actually just painted in factory 1981 GM colors. (Another ingenious Yenko marketing scheme! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif ) Was the packet worth $250? Depends on who you ask.. to the buyer it was, and I would have to say its a supply/demand thing...if i didn't already have one, and if it was complete with the color chart, I'd say it was "worth" it simply because its a tough piece to get... show me another one for sale.
