This is a totally original '69... is that some sort of strange air horn there?

That engine stand looks strangly familiar. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif
The flap on the air horn worked like a choke, I think.

Nope, that's the siren for an old fashioned vintage alarm system. I'd be looking for the key switch somewhere on the body. Back then they used to drill a hole in the fender for the switch. OUCH!

Steve, good call on the air horn. I was looking at the air cleaner.
You are right on about the alarm key on the fender, and they were quick to rust since the switch was just bolted on.
The alarm wasn't much good if the car was towed, a method still used by thieves today. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

That "engine stand" is a Camaro sub-frame... it's a part of the Cutaway Camaro display.

On the "totally original '69" I wonder why they don't at least dust the engine compartment... I guess they think that the dust lends to the "totally original" feel.

One of the first "options" that my Dad put on his '68 Camaro was one of those musical horns. It had three horns, and could play a variety of tunes. Everybody around town knew him for that https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif
