Rear axle ID stickers
In Jerry MacNeish's 1969 Camaro fact book he shows on page 166 an original "BE" real axle ID sticker on the passenger side rear drum. My question is: did other coded rear ends come with similar stickers? I am almost finished with my BU rear and was wondering if anyone knows what color combo that sticker used. Thanks! Tommy

Re: Rear axle ID stickers
Good question! If the answer is yes to other stickers
being used, where can I get a correct one for my 69 Camaro with 3.73:1 ratio? Steve |
Re: Rear axle ID stickers
I found the original rear tag attached on the brake drum of my 1968. I posted a picture of the tag (169indy photo gallery) and a homemade repop I made on our computer.
1968 3:08 open 12-bolt, code "PP" yellow tag with bold underlined black letters. I think most cars lost the tags during the tire changes. Jim |
Re: Rear axle ID stickers
These are the set DOn Lightfoot made for me for my COPO. KQ is the rear code.
