PROMPT & RELIABLE Auto transport company??? Help?
"Supposed" to have transport arranged for my incoming Chevelle project, but I can't get a straight answer as to WHEN the car is supposed to be picked up & shipped...been put off 3 times so far. Now I'm told the car *MIGHT* be picked up this friday...no guarantees. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif
Of course, transport fees were paid in advance. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif SO...it's looking like I need to secure a transport company on my own. Car is in AZ, going to Ohio. Would like to get this done a.s.a.p., if not sooner. Any recommendations? Anyone with a trailer up for a road trip? LOL! Eric |

Chuck;
I'm hoping that won't be an issue. They told me I was welcome to make other arrangements on my own, so I'm guessing this won't be the 1st time for them to refund a shipping charge. That is, assuming I can find someone else to help me get this done in a timely manner. I honestly doubt it will be an issue. |

Erik, who did you sign up with? Please don't say it was with Dependable Auto Shippers(DAS)... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

The company is called F&S Freight. (Shipping arrangements were made by the business I purchased the car from.) Maybe I'm being impatient, I don't know...but I was told it would only be 7-10 days at the most before the car would be here, and here it is 2 weeks into the deal and it hasn't even been loaded up, and I STILL don't have an answer as to when it WILL be loaded up. This is registering about an 8.5 on my https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif -O-meter. |

Mike Bond [/ QUOTE ] I have an idea so you don't have to roll out west deadhead-If you want to part with either one of those LS5 or 6 Elco's just load it on the deck and drop off in L.A.,and you can scoop up that Chevelle passing back through Phoenix https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif |
Re: PROMPT & RELIABLE Auto transport company??? Help?
I have used Horseless Carriage twice with no issues.
Good pricing and superior equipment. I would tend to trust one of the big four... Reliable, Horseless, Intercity, Passport. Good luck with the new baby! |

Hey Mark I think I will keep those. But I could bring you a 72 Chevelle SS 402 Auto with Air, for $12000.00 Delivered.
