WTB upper ball joints

I need a set of NOS upper ball joints for a 1970 Chevelle and need them soon. No reasonable offer refused, I just need them soon. Any help appreciated. Rick

Thanks for all the responses, not only did a friend come through with a very fair price but I also located some complete sets of upper and lowers that were very reasonable as well so I should be set for a few more cars. Thanks to all who responded.

Ric, Would you share where YOU buy the correct rivets and Specifically how one goes about installing them ??????

Re: WTB upper ball joints

Chuck,
I purchased some from an old friend who bought them from an industrial supplier and had to buy bulk. 1000 if I recall. I am trying to locate a new source and may have found one. I will let you know. Also, I just got my new AMK catalog and scanned through it quick. I believe they are listed in there as well for the Chevelle.

As far as installing them, I had a pneumatic tool made that puts a similar head on the rivet. It is a two man job and is kind of cumbersome but works none the less. The rivets have a hardened core with a softer outer layer that peens the head over much like the original. I need to revise the tool so that I can replicate exactly how the rivets should look.

I have the AMK catalog, the rivets that they are selling look just like the ones that I bought from Flying A Restorations and subsequently put on my ls6 that I am restoring.I very talented guy here locally peened the rivets in for me,he too has a special tool,it comes out looking very nice.
