Aftermarket Aluminum Heads...any advice?

Just starting the hunt for alloy heads for the 302.Does anyone have any advice as to what they think is best. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gifI've been doing alot of research and it looks like it may come down to something from either AFR or Brodix...but which one? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gifAFR makes a 210cc SPEC racing head with a 66cc combustion chamber that would be close to the stock 64cc for around $1995/pr.complete.
Planning on building a roller cam (hydralic)11:0 motor and using my stock LT-1 manifold.

Any suggestions would be welcome. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Thanks,
John

Hey John,

I have both AFRs and Brodix aluminum heads that are going on two way different projects. AFRs are going on my ZL-1 project. I just ordered a set of Brodix 200cc Race Rites with the CNC chamber option that will go on a stoker 383 SBC with a hyd roller. I have heard the Brodix will out flow the AFR 210 to about .500 lift.

I doubt if you could go wrong with either one of the companies. They both put out an excellent product with many years of experience behind them.

Funny,I had hear just the opposite about AFR outflowing Brodix but that's why I'm asking.I have both catalogs and have been waffling back and forth.Brodix makes like 20+ 23 degree sbc heads! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

What did your CNC race rites run you?
