Paintless dent removal?
Anybody ever have small dents removed from an original laquer paint car (first gen Camaro or something similar)? If so, how were the results? Any paint cracking? Thanks in advance https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: Paintless dent removal?
I HAVE HAD EXCELLENT RESULTS REMOVING DENTS FROM ORIGINAL PAINT CARS. IF YOU USE A GOOD TECH, HE USUALLY KNOWS HIS LIMITS. I'VE REMOVED DOOR PANELS, VENTS,ETC TO MAKE THE JOB EASIER.... KP

Mark, keep in mind that all of these guys do not have the same level of skill. First you need someone that is used to working on older cars as the metal is much thicker than what they encounter on new cars. It just is not as easy to get good results as on a new car, but it can be done with patience. AND, you need someone who knows when he is getting in trouble as he is working the ding or dent and knows enough to stop before you damage the paint.

Re: Paintless dent removal?
I used this service earlier this year after some Bozo threw a door into my 68 Qtr.....Excellant results! Not a mark on the inside of the quarter or out.Check with your local body guy, they most always have someone specific they work with.Sometimes even after hours at a discount price.......Cost me $80...Would have been $50 if it was a newer car. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/scholar.gif
