67 Z28
I just joined my local chapter of the AACA (I must be getting old) anyway I met an original owner of a 67 Z28. He worked at National Speedway on Long Island, NY in the mid 60's. It was a white rs/z, purchased from a dealership in Patchogue, NY. He first learned of the availability of the z28, while speaking with some GM executives who happen to be visiting the track (not sure why). He wrote to GM requesting information on how to properly tune it since not much was known about the 302 back then. He wrote the letter in April of 67 and received a response in May. They provided very detailed information, about twenty pages in total. He provided me with a copy of the documentation addressed to him. When I get a chance I will post some.

Attached is the cover letter. He sold the car in summer of 1969. Please respect his privacy.

Re: 67 Z28
A Tahoe Turquiose '67 Z with turquiose interior was sold new at the same dealership. I just spoke with the original owner a few months ago. The car is still around and owned by his son.
