Part number conversion?

Anyone know of a site where I can convert the old part number in the P&A book to the modern number?

Tony
I don't know of any site that converts, but here is what the books show.
Cover #3969824 was originally used on the line in 1970 & up.
It was discontinued on December,1974.
It was soon replaced with #3998944 shortly after, until it was discontinued in 1988.
It was then replaced by part #14006795,which is the current # today.
All of these were used on many 1970-78 vehicles & can be found today & sell for $5-10.00 from dealers.

Hey Rick...You made that awful easy for me. I typed your number in the GM parts direct site and bingo, there it is. Many thanks. I would like to add that you are a real asset to this site. I see you are always helping with part numbers and such. I really do appreciate it. Have a good day.

Tony...I am positive he has a complete set of every part book ever made and has them in the old metal catalog holding contraptions like we used in the old parts store...

Is there any way to check if this part number 487331, is a good number, or whether it has been superceded? It is the correct vacuum fitting for my 72 T/A and I can't seem to find one anywhere. See attached photo.
