On this site about 3/4 down is a picture of "Color Me Gone". You will see the sign on the tower in this shot. Not the best but a shot of it. Gene Carlson the photographer has a lot of other very nice pictures on this site.

Steve, Have you heard anything about a US30 Reunion in 2006? The reason I ask, a guy at Vettefest, who's card I mis-placed, visited with me at length about such a reunion, and having my '68 DH car there. Sounded like a neat event.

Heard about it as well as the possibility of the track being reopened, don't have any details or even know if either piece of info is valid.

I do know someone who has some Vintage video footage of your DH Funny Car Running at US 30. Will hook you up.

Great 4 page vintage photo article in this months March 2011 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines taken @ U.S.30 Dragstrip in Indiana during it's heydays,but no tower pics.
