1969 L72 Biscayne

Does anyone have info on the Black/Black '69 M22 L72 Biscayne near Buffalo, NY? It was originally Fathom Green.

Thanks,

- If have the Vin or find the car, make sure you run it through GM Canada Vintage services as a Buffalo Biscayne has a good chance of being an Oshawa built car? . Good luck! ~ Pete

Wasn't that Bill Sorci's Car?

It was built in Flint..... I do wish it was an Oshawa car! I don't know if it was Sorci's car before the current owner. It was originally Fathom Green and was repainted Black during a resto about 15 years ago. Also, A/C was added at that time.

Is the car located in Lockport, NY?

According to sources there were only 2 1969 L72 Biscaynes registered to private owners in 1969 in the Western New York area. I know the original owner of one L72 Biscayne and was looking at the pictures of it yesterday. The one he owned was originally Black with Black interior, dog dish caps, no PS, no PB, M21, 4:10 rear. He ordered it new in 1969. I also know a few of the other past owners. The car has been floating around Western NY most of it's life.

Now the car could have been painted a few times over the years and have some changes made. Both reported L72 Biscaynes were black.

I just talked to him again today and if you want I might be able to help you.

I went to look at these cars for a cleint this past weekend. He bought the one with no paperwork but original engine. The L-72 with A/C added is a pretty nice car that is a older restoration. I did not view the paperwork for it while I was there as the customer was really interested in the other car as it was on Ebay. It does have a nice straight body and paint is good, could use a good ft clip detail and remove the A/C if you wanted to get nit picky on it but its a good car overall, just needs some detail items.

Rick,
I'll find out where the car is located. The owner said it was just outside of Buffalo, but I didn't get the name of the city. How far is Warsaw from Buffalo?

Does anyone have any opinions on the value of this car. It's being represented as complete numbers matching drivetrain (L72, M22, 3.73 Posi) with no rust ever, 65,000 miles, color change from Fathom Green to Black about 15 years ago by previous owner.

Micky, I didn't see your earlier post. Sounds like a nice car. I'm in final negotiations with the owner right now, pending an inspection.
