I believe that's the fender moulding that runs just over the top of the wheel,the length of the fender.
This was originally part #3953841LH & #42RH side.
It's Exterior body side Moulding for a 1969-72 Nova w/exterior decor & Nova Sedan w/custom exterior.
It was later superseded by #3998389LH & #90RH in 1976.

Cool! Took a $14 chance on an NOS one - it paid off, I can't buy a decent used one for that price https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif I guess I can use it on either side.
