Born and raised a Twins/Vikes fan, he was my favorite player growing up. Still have my collection of 250 or so non duplicate KP cards and the 34 Jersey I got when I was lucky enough to make it up to MN for the 91 postseason.
We wont see many, if any, play the game the way he did. |

God this is really sad news.
Since he retired a few years ago from Glaucoma,he balloned up to 300lbs.,and was just now working at slimming down when the stroke occured at age 45.. He really was a good athlete & person. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif |

Played for Triton College in River Grove Illinois, the Baseball field there is named Kirby Puckett field.
