Its not the silver paint thats hard to duplicate, its the white plastic UNDER the silver paint that shows through.

Repos use black plastic originals have white plastic under the silver paint.

PPG DQE-8568 is very close to GM Argent Silver. BCD.

Just curious, How are the repo silver grilles made? Are they molded in silver?

Correct me if I am wrong: The silver grills were factory installed only on the black cars, RS and standard. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

I saw an NOS RS silver grill on ebay about 2 years ago.
