Anyone have access to Indiana DMV records online...they want 50 bucks to sign up and im not sure if they can go back to 1978..

i think they only go back 10 years.

If I can get history for 10 years I may be able to get an original owners name and address..

The Indiana DMV will give you the micro film records back to the late 60's - if you get the right person, and check the right box!

I checked the right box and received nothing but a sorry "our records only go back ten years".

Ok Marlin, give us a few more details on this micro film business. There are a good number of us over at www.camaropacecars.com that would give our left one if we could get a lead on our cars.

Oh! I will dig out the form, and get the particulars. It's been awhile since I did one in Indy - maybe MikeA can chime in as well, he has done a few within the last few years.

Here is a link to there site. If I remember correctly in my request for my cars owner history, I Selected form#46449 an check the fourth to last box on page two. It starts with "An individual or representative of an organization which will use these records for research activities and statistical reports"....

I would be very interested as well. My search has reached back to 1978 in Indiana. So I'm at a dead end unless I can get those records.

Gah Indiana has alot more options than Mississippi. I believe my car was last registered around '78 in Mississippi. But im at a dead end!
