Re: 1969 PHASE III MOTION CAMARO
If I recall that car was for sale for quite some time before it sold from Kevin...
It is a Day 2 Motion car... not a Baldwin Motion Day 1 car. IMHO it is another modified 69 Z, although Joel did the work... how much of a premium does that carry? I guess ebay will tell!!! |
Re: 1969 PHASE III MOTION CAMARO
It was at the rockford mecum auction. I do not think it made reserve there.

Re: 1969 PHASE III MOTION CAMARO
--------Yup, saw it catch fire at Mecum when someone tried a little to vigorously to start it. Luckily they got the hood off fairly quickly and managed to put the fire out. Im still not sure who had it for sale at Mecums. Not Kevin unless he had someone else handle the sale for him.........Bill S

Re: 1969 PHASE III MOTION CAMARO
I bought it from Kevin and sold it to the guy that currently owns it now. It was bid to 130k REAL MONEY at Mecum but he wanted alot more for it. Great car nice resto and definately one of the MOST WILD MOTION cars built. Definately takes the right kind of buyer its more of a piece of art than something you can drive thats alot of the reason I sold it ITS RADICAL AS HECK!!. Dont know if it will do the money on Ebay but I think the car could have a REAL good chance at Barrett.
(as far as the fire at mecum nothing was hurt or burnt it just decided to take a big burp out of the carbs.. lol) kind of expected for a car with 2 1050's that is trying to be driven like a normal car. |
