For Sale: Unrestored/original '69 Z28
Here are some pictures of my 1969 Z28. It is a NO hit body with all original metal. The motor, trans and rear are all original. The A.I.R. (air injector reactor, smog) is all original. The air cleaner assembly is all original with its original "Demco" cowl spacer. The intake is the original "Winters" unit. The Holley 4bbl and camel hump heads are original as well. The block is original and even has the casting down by the oil filter in the rough pad. It is a late '69 build date. 3:73 diff with a M21, AM/FM, gauge package-console, a REAL D80 spoilers car and power brakes (standard). The paint is an old late '70s laquer repaint. Fathom green with white stripes. A couple areas are badly cracked. The car needs paint to be perfect. The interior is untouched and original. I have medium green door panels, an extra set of seat belts, an NOS steering wheel, headrests and some other small interior parts that go with the sale. All original sill plates. Nothing in the interior has ever been changed. Even the chrome plates on the gas, clutch and brake pedel are original. This car is so well perserved that the outline for the original water transfer decals are still evident on the 1/4 vent windows. The part number in the trunk pan floor is readable. There an chalk markings on the top of the gas tank along with the original "PTB" stamps on the firewall. The car is currently sporting a chamber exhaust system and brand new BFG Radial T/As.
I am looking for about $55,000 for this awesome, unrestored Camaro. It is significantly under priced. -Dan 914-715-4081 In these pictures a replacement master cylinder was on the car, we have since installed the original unit, which came with the sale of the car. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/DSCN0020.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...20Z28/thez.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/DSCN0025.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/DSCN0032.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/P1010052.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...8/P1010092.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...%20Z28/tag.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...arFiles061.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...arFiles033.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...arFiles076.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...arFiles074.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...arFiles047.jpg |

Beautiful Z/28! Is there any documentation that comes along with the car? Thanks!

Tommy,
No paperwork in terms of buildsheet or P-o-P. Several board members know the car. One board member knows the man who found the car. The car was driven by a school teacher and then parked in his father's machine shed. Someone discovered the old Z sitting in there, got a wrecker and moved the heavy machines in front of the car, added gas, plugs, wires and a battery, fired up and drove out of the garage. -Dan |

The car was sold new to a school teacher in S.C. or Atlanta.I bought the car from the family member that shipped the car out to Calif.in the late 1970's.He owned some type of machine shop and upon closing his business he brought alot of the machinery to his house and buried the Z28 behide a bunch of heavy equipment for about 25 years.
Out of a couple dozen Z's that I've found sitting since the early 1970's, this is one of the very few that didn't have a CE or LT1 replacement, but the actual original engine. |
