SW tach service/repair
1 Attachment(s)
Well I sent out my SW tach to be repaired about two months ago...and just got it back. Note inside said unable to repair!! I am pretty sure now that this tach uses a sender and does not directly hook up to the coil. ANyone have any experience with these? Here is a pic of the tach. Thanks

Re: SW tach service/repair
I sent my SW tach to redline gauges. They converted it to newer technology. They actually utilize the sending unit as well, and it requires that you hook it up as original. I have their # at work and will post it tomorrow.

I'll call the tachman tomorrow. Thanks for the replies. ALbert |
Re: SW tach service/repair
Mine was converted to sender-less operation by the Tachman (I think; it's been a while).

Re: SW tach service/repair
paceme: tell me more about this *conversion*...I'd like to run the original SW tach on our cars, but I need one that isn't just along for the ride (for obvious reasons)...
