mustang value question...

A close friend of mine is selling his Mustang. Its a 1996 or 1995 GT with 40,000 original miles. No hit body, manual, black on black, coupe. Its all original, no modifications, no accidents. I have seen some eBay auctions for high mileage junk bringing $8k-$10k so I'm a little skeptical about putting my finger on a good price. Money is tight right now for him; his oldest son is a freshman in college. He doesn't have a lot of time to make the sale; time is money... so to speak.

I told him I think the car is worth between $12k and $15k, being a virgin, low mile, good colors, and a manual tranny.

What do you guys think?

Thanks
-Dan

Daniel,

I bought a low mileage, all original 1996 Cobra on eBay
two years ago for $12,000 - so I think your value is way
high on the GT.

Thanks!

$8k-$10K is most likely a better number?
