Cragar question
I'm in the process of getting a set of Cargar S/S wheels, 2 are 15x8, 2 are 15x7, off of a mid-year Vette. The owner decided he wanted a new set. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif
Is there a way to tell how old these wheels are? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif I was told that they are about 30 years old, but I have no clue as to how you date these wheels, if there is one. Any ideas? Thanks, Andy https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |

Re: Cragar question
The center caps are also different from the modern ones. Joey Barr has a picture of the old center caps.

Re: Cragar question
True vintage '60s Cragar S/S caps don't have the little encircled R next to the Cragar logo, as it wasn't "reserved" until much later.
