They look like carb mountings to try and get a ramcharge effect....

I believe that you would use them in conjuction with the Offy 2x4 manifold and as stated above, it could be a way to get the cross-ram effect. Offy has always had some neat speed parts.

wonder how those would look on my BB '59 Apache, LOL

When I was looking for a cross ram setup a picture of them came up on a search. They were on a gasser style car mounted on a low rise dual quad intake. Neat stuff.
