1969 chevelle tow tabs
 

looking for a pair of nmw or lakewood bolt on tow tabs for a 69 chevelle. i have a pair that i purchased that came off a 70 but they don't fit. thanx mike

I think I have a set...but they are a little wierd looking when you place them up to the car....for some reason they dont really line up where the sheet says they do and you will have to drill some different holes....let me see if i can find them...I never used them

are you sure they are foe a 69? the guy i purchased mine from said that they were pulled of a 1970 chevelle. naturally he told me that all 68-72 chevelle tabs were the same. after 2 hours or so there is no way i can see them fitting. thanx again mike

Mike...I just got a note from a friend who reminded me I gave them to him a couple years ago !! He's right because I haven't tripped over them in a while !!!! Sorry about that. I know when I fit them up to see how they would fit they sucked and I think I would have had to drill a new hole in the bumper brace which I didn't want to do...

The 69 brackets are different then the 70 ones... I have a set of 69 brackets but Im not getting rid of them, if you would like a picture I can get you one... The 70 brackets were two pieces bolted together... Mark

I'll take a closeup picture tomorrow. them are still mounted on the bumper i pulled off my car.
