Detroit drag strip
 

Did this track publish a weekly news papper??
and what was it called?
any help will be apreciated as I am trying to find an article re the race results of May 10 1969.I have tried
the Detroit free press and ordered the microfish from May1/to the 15. IN the sport section of the papper there was no drag racing results.

Sure would be nice if someone out there is
of the right vintage to remember if that drag strip printed
a weekly news papper

We used to hang around there years ago. I never remember a newspaper, but not 100% sure there was'nt one either. I'll ask around.

Call the Booth and Arons shop in Detroit. Those guys are still around and would probably know for sure. 248 399 4612.
I think they are on 12 mile in Berkley in case that number is'nt correct.

Peter, Try National Dragster and if it was an AHRA track at that time try Drag World. Probably the results were printed a week or so after the May 10th race. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
