Re: Restored Nova
-------I was going down thru the pics and got to the shots of the floorboards. Did you guys notice where he put the rear jack pads??? They appear to be right on top of the fuel lines and certainly not where they should be. If nothing else, this gives me a pretty clear idea of the intelligence of whoever put it on the lift, if not the owner.........Bill S

Re: Restored Nova
Is that shifter totally in the wrong place? My 69's console is a lot closer to the firewall and dash than this appears to be.
Does it look to anyone else like an aftermarket shifter? And where is the U17 gauge option? Should the steering wheel cover be an SS cover instead of Nova? I can't see the shoulder belts in the headliner shot. Just a few questions I have.. |
Re: Restored Nova
It has the ultra-rare TSRUH shifter option. (that's what you get when you install the handle backwards like this guy.) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Re: Restored Nova
There is actually one interesting photo....the one showing the back of the disc brake caliper....notice the 2 lines of rust from bleeding the brakes...took the paint right off....thank god for silicone brake fluid..

Re: Restored Nova
There's a lot of funky stuff wrong with this car.
Console (WTF?) Shifter (location?) Bucket seats (68 style) Steering wheel (71+ style) Rear tail panel (red SS badge) No gauge package, but it's on the GM document Color (white or blue?) Rear side marker location (too far forward) Newer style power steering pump .... probably more. Sorry to be a critic, but the ad promises more than the car seems to offer. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I hate to chime in on this kind of talk but its a dealers car not an enthusiasts so what the heck. The car looks like he waxed it with a hammer. Is that JC Whitney side body molding? I thought George Forman gave up working on exhaust systems!! Well at least we know where the car was when the under side was painted, it matches the overspray on the lift. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/crazy.gif Oh and if this is any indication, check the underside of his other auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet...1QQcmdZViewItem |
Re: Restored Nova
Look at the engine oil pan.....how many drain plugs do you need in your oil pan? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif Obviously no expense was spared on this car. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...thumbsdown.gif
