My LS6 Gamble pays off!
1 Attachment(s)
Many of you recently saw the LS6 on ebay with no docs but an untouched original car. For those of you that did not see it:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...865337&rd=1,1 I received the car late last night and I started searching for a buildsheet this afternoon. I now have not one, but two buildsheets for my original sheet metal, 3 owner, 19xxx original miles LS6. Sometimes you win! |
Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
Chris,
Where did you find the two build sheets? |
Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
Congratulations! That is really a neat car. There is a simliar one in the Pittsburgh area, black non cowl induction LS6.
What great Luck! |
Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
That is bad as hell!
Nice find... seems like there is good Karma around here... |
Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
Both sheets were in the back (upright) part of the back seat. One was in the springs and the other was in the hog rings that you see in the pic.

Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
If the guy stated in the e-bay ad that he knew where build sheets would be, but he never looked, thats kind of weird, but his lose is your gain, nice find.

Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
Nice find, hope all the numbers and such work out for you, any close ups of the build sheets or vin pad?

Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
You could see that he gave up after looking in the carpet and under the front seats. He was not surprised, but I could tell the disappointment in his voice when I called him tonight.

Re: My LS6 Gamble pays off!
Eventhough it is black right now the original color is the rare 25 code Astro Blue.
