Re: Phosphate and oxide coasting
I think Charley is thinking of this guy:
Palmetto Enterprises 2311 A Old Parker Rd Greenville, SC 26909 864-246-3836 I ordered a jug of his gray phosphating solution back in Sept-Oct. At the time, he told me he had retired and was selling off the rest of his inventory. He did mention another outfit in the Northwest that was supplying the stuff, but I didn't get the name. Suggest you give him a call and see what's up. |
Re: Phosphate and oxide coasting
Steve Gregori, and he is located in CA. He advertises in Hemmings, and he also plates boosters.

Re: Phosphate and oxide coasting
Hood Hinges, Hood Catches etc = ZINC Phosphate (Gray)
Bolts, Shift Linkage, etc = MANGANESE Phosphate (Dark/Charcoal....Black if you must, GRAY) G.M. externally did not spec Black Oxide. |
Re: Phosphate and oxide coasting
Yes...Thanks Denis. It was Palmetto. Easy to use. Gregori is a good guy if you prefer to ship it out.
