Something different.
I knoiw this isnt a real muscle car,but after having admired every kind of real and orifinal bigblock muscle car ever made sometimes my mind starts to wander.I like to get into the what if mode once in a while.I dont even bother with crazy ones like what if Chevy stuffed an L88 into a Vega.I like more realistic stuff. My personal favorite is pretty kmundane.I wonder what it would be like if Chevy had build a 454 Camaro in 73 and 74 to match the Super Duty Firebirds of that time.I plan on building such a car with all the correct dated parts and aside from maybe a set of fat tires,I plan on it looking like GM built it.The car in this link is pretty cool.I would have done the interior different, and maybe added some fatter tires to it.I think this would be a really cool car to own if your "real car' was a bigblock chevelle.Maybe make this one to match the paint and trim of the real car and use it as a driver and park it next to the real deal in the garage. It isnt an 1970 LS6,but I bet it gets out of it's own way.The engine compartment really blows me away.Aside from maybe needing a smog pup or something it looks like the car was built that way.I bet this thing is a blast to drive.Check it out at.

Re: Something different.
Somebody E-mailed me that auction earlier today on this particular Malibu. Some neat things going for it. It's a manual transmission car thats also non A/C equipped. If you look real close you can see the factory A/C vent delete plates on the far ends of the dash. Looks like a radio delete plate also. A few years ago I had a 51,000 original mile, Camel Brown 1979 Malibu that was a very neat car. Ordered with a small V-6, factory 3 speed stick shift, manual brakes, manual steering, radio delete, non A/C, non-tinted windows (except for the windshield), and not even wheel well moldings. A true stripper. I put in a Scott Shafiroff 540 CID, TH400, and a complete Moser 9 inch with a 4.10 Detroit Locker. This was the ultimate street sweeper! Dog dish hubcaps and 10 second time slips! Kept the 28x9 slicks in the trunk for those serious late night encounters. Probably the most fun I ever had with any car. I'll have to dig up some pictures to post later this weekend.
