1967 Malibu SS !
1 Attachment(s)
Some time ago someone posted a link to an ad for a 6-cylinder SS Impala. I believe it was a 1964 model, that was originally sold in Sweden.
Now here is another odd SS export-car. I visited the owner Jörgen Magnusson last year when I bought a 1967 Impala hood from him. He showed me all his cars, among them five 1967 Chevelles with disc-brakes and one 1967 SS 427 Impala from California. I never realised that the blue hardtop was Canada-built for export to Sweden. These Malibu SS cars had bodycolor tailpanel, firewall and trunk. No splatter-paint here ! This car has the 195 hp 283, but you could get this SS-car with a sixbanger if you wanted. Like 99% of the 1967 Chevrolets sold in Sweden, this one has disc-brakes and rearwindow defogger. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...-I-Have-It.gif |

They state in the article that since GM never planned a Malibu SS for 1967, they used emblems from the 1964 model.
Note that there is no SS emblem on the tailpanel. |

The blue export Canada-built hardtop with bodycolor firewall, next to a Sierra Fawn California-built wagon with black firewall.
This blue Malibu SS also has PB, PS and positraction. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
Re: 1967 Malibu SS !
I remember seeing a picture somewhere of a Canadian built 66/67 Malibu SS with a 6 cylinder engine. There were some odd cars built in Canada.
