Pulley dates,how to read?
Missing waterpump pulley for my 69 RS, Gm number 3932402 DU. Currently there are 2 on ebay one is dated 19 0 and the other 37 9.Im realize the last number is the year but are the first 2 numbers the month and day or day of the year? My engine has a assembly date of 12 12 so i realize these two wont be correct but i need to know how to read them correctly for future reference. Thanks in advance

Re: Pulley dates,how to read?
I took a '402 pulley off a 70 Camaro years ago and it had a date on it. I can't find it, maybe I sold it. I remember it had a 70 stamped on it. This is the only pulley I've seen that had a date on it.
Maybe the correct question that you should ask is did the pulleys normally have dates on them in 69? My bet is no. |

Re: Pulley dates,how to read?
There is no mention of any dates on any pulleys in the 1969 camaro fact book by J MacNeish, maybe you have a newer pulley. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
