need some 67 Camaro help
can anyone tell me what valve covers came on a 67 Camaro with a 275HP 327

Re: need some 67 Camaro help
I think they would be the standard chevy orange valve covers.

Re: need some 67 Camaro help
Mine has the orange painted Chevrolet script valve covers, though I've seen several with the rectangle emblem-in-the-center style.
Good luck, BCD. |
Re: need some 67 Camaro help
ive be told painted script on the 210hp and painted rectangle on the 275hp but im not sure.
also heard there was two rectangle styles (something different in the stamping) so im kind of lost. |
Re: need some 67 Camaro help
Painted orange script no rectangle on a 67 Camaro L30. I've owned a couple 67 L30/M20 "saginaw" camaro's in the past. The 68 lost the script but was painted orange. I've never seen the triangle version used on a first gen camaro.

I have to look for a old photo , I had one and thought it had plain valve covers, it was a 50K orig never touched car when I found it.

Yep! Plain Script Painted Covers, the rectangle ones I've seen on the trucks in 1967.
