Any and all Type-O castings are cool but this block even appears usable if true about no filler in the passages...it doesn't say if a Can-Am displacement or other though, does it?.

Most interesting is the Copo 9567 comment in the questions from someone who's spotted the 9567 clone in the background...wonder what the real story is there?https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif.

And haven't we come across this seller before w/ that same 9567 clone and stories of how he had some GM exec retired uncle and a hidden warehouse of prototypes including one of the real 9567 cars etc?.

Nice nostalgic piece but if you're going to drive it the 053 blocks are the only way to go. Better aluminum, better casting, better looking, better construction, splayed caps and no porosity. at 1/2 to a 1/4 the price....if you can find any in stock

Re: Prototype ZL1 block on EBAY

I spoke to him about the tribute car on ebay, he wanted all the money up front however he would gladly buid the car to your specks and he had the copyrights and blue printe for the winters motor stamp and the ZL1 emblems if you wanted the black w/ gold racing stripes like the two original sow cars. I was not at all comfortable with his approach howeve he ahd a good bit of info that could easily sway someone, his name was spencer and told me he is mentioned in most of the camaro books as an expert on the zl1 cars. Just some info for anyone looking for it.
