Deceased SYC member Larry Clain's estate auction..
...to be held November 10 in Tulsa. Here is a link.
I am not involved or deriving any benefit from this, just posting because I know Larry gained a lot from his association with many on the Supercar site. Therefore, y'all ought to have somewhat of a "heads up" about this. Here is the link: Auction details |
Re: Deceased SYC member Larry Clain's estate auction..
Not one to start conspiracy theories, but may be worth considering.... Since the stolen property (some of which is rare BM items) has not surfaced, would it be possible that the thieves might want to pick up a few other items they missed in order to complement what they have already? I.e. they might be in attendance at the auction or maybe their proxy? A lot of time has passed and they may feel so emboldened.

Re: Deceased SYC member Larry Clain's estate aucti
THAT is an interesting point Sam. It's my guess that the perpetrator(s) were someone who knew Larry well...or at least well enough to take advantage of his death to make off w/ these specific vehicles.
That would be worth exploring for interested parties w/ the means/access to do so. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif |
Re: Deceased SYC member Larry Clain's estate aucti
The search is still on for the stolen cars. I just hope the police find the perp before Ed or I do. Each day that passes fuels the fire a little more.
Rick, the detective, says the investigation has taken a twist, but won't specify. That, in itself, is annoying! |
Re: Deceased SYC member Larry Clain's estate aucti
I am planning to preview Friday afternoon, and be at the auction on Sat. Anyone else going? Want to meet up for a beer and toast a great car guy?
