Wanted, 1969 GTO
Not real picky here. Just would prefer a 4 speed car that needs some work. I can't really afford a ram air car. I would also like the hide away headlights.
Just wondering if you guys have any stashed away or know of any sitting around. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ouguysrock.gif |

Try performanceyears.com and classicalpontiac.com as well. Both always seem to have a few for sale. I have a 428 powered '69 4 sp GTO, originally Palladium Silver, black vinyl, black gut (now triple black) that I will likely be selling, but will be a few months. It's a hideaway car, standard engine. Won't be expensive, unless I get carried away with "cleaning it up a little so I can sell it."

now that sounds better. The car I used to have was a Pallidium Silver, black corodova top and black interior.

Re: Wanted, 1969 GTO
Here's a link to a '69 GTO that I used to own. Bought it locally here from the original owner in 1987. Nicely optioned and one of the smoothest & tightest driving muscle cars I've ever had. Has amazing documentation to boot. May be a little pricey as advertised, but its nice one. By the way, its a 4-speed not a 3-speed as advertised.

Re: Wanted, 1969 GTO
Correct you are on your recollection. Purchased new in Mesa, spent time in CA. Nice restoration, not perfect. Sharp looking car, dark blue, white painted top, definitely stands out in the crowd. Price might come down now with the auctions out of here.
