Funny, the "fuel economy" on that VW is better then the "fuel" VW of today. I know mine never got anywhere near that.

That test shows a little over 30 MPG. Impressive. But I'd have to say that car would have to really be a pig. Wouldn't belong in the fast lane on the highway for any reason. People don't realize that for several years, Novas were one of the only cars ever made with the choice of 4,6, or 8 cylinders. You could even break down the V8's into small and big blocks making for 4 distinctly different engine families available!

I have visions of a older midget Sesco 4 cylinder engine in this thing. Did anybody notice the distance between the fixed fan and radiator? Why bother putting a fan on the car?
